Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals for the installation of a new Cellular-Enabled Fire Alarm System as well as an alternate proposal for monitoring, maintenance, repair and inspections for Carteret County Governments Western Public Library located at 230 Taylor Notion Road, Cape Carteret, NC 28584. The Contractor shall provide the services discussed in this scope of work with its own workforce. The Contractor may propose to subcontract portions of the work provided that their proposals clearly indicate what work they plan to subcontract and to whom and that all information required about the prime contractor is also included for each proposed subcontractor. The County reserves the right to approve and or deny all subcontractors. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor and equipment for the following service. For each day in excess of the above number of days, the Contractor shall pay the Owner the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100) as liquidated damages reasonably estimated in advance to cover the losses to be incurred by the Owner should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within the time specified.
