The Installation And Related Work For The Alterations To The Apparatus Rooms At Headquarter, Station 4, Van Ness And Brookside Engine Company 2 Floor Finish Replacement. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied By A Bid Bond Or Certified Or Bank Cashier's Check (Bid Security) Made Payable To Owner, In An Amount Not Less Than Five Percent Of The Amount Of The Bid Submitted. If The Successful Bidder Fails Or Refuses To Sign A Contract With The Owner Within Ten (10) Days After The Successful Bidder Has Been Notified Of The Award Of The Contract To It, Such Successful Bidder Shall Forfeit To The Board Of Fire Commissioners, As Liquidated Damages, Its Security Deposit. The Bidder To Whom The Owner Proposes To Award The Contract Will Be Required To Furnish The Necessary Insurance Certificates As Prescribed In The General Conditions Upon The Execution Of The Agreement.
