Renovation of a fire / police facility in Uniondale, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Contract Documents, Consisting Of Advertisement For Bids, Instructions To Bidders, Bidding Document And Specifications, Agreement, General Conditions, Requirements, And Addenda May Be Examined And Obtained At The Following Location: Uniondale Fire District (Owner) 501 Uniondale Avenue Uniondale, Ny 11553. The Installation And Related Work For The Alterations To The Apparatus Rooms At Headquarter, Station 4, Van Ness And Brookside Engine Company 2 Floor Finish Replacement. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied By A Bid Bond Or Certified Or Bank Cashier's Check (Bid Security) Made Payable To Owner, In An Amount Not Less Than Five Percent Of The Amount Of The Bid Submitted. If The Successful Bidder Fails Or Refuses To Sign A Contract With The Owner Within Ten (10) Days After The Successful Bidder Has Been Notified Of The Award Of The Contract To It, Such Successful Bidder Shall Forfeit To The Board Of Fire Commissioners, As Liquidated Damages, Its Security Deposit. The Bidder To Whom The Owner Proposes To Award The Contract Will Be Required To Furnish The Necessary Insurance Certificates As Prescribed In The General Conditions Upon The Execution Of The Agreement. Bidders Are Required To Execute A Non-collusive Bidding Certification Required By Section 103-d Of The General Municipal Law Of The State Of New York. The Attention Of Bidders Is Particularly Called To The Requirements As To The Conditions Of Employment To Be Observed And The Minimum Wage Rates To Be Paid Under The Contracts. Additionally, The Amount Bid Shall Be Guaranteed To Remain The Same For 60 Days. Bidders Are Also Required To Comply With The Anti-discrimination Provisions Of Sections 290-301 Of The Executive Law Of The State Of New York, And All Other Local, State And Federal Statutes. The Owner Reserves The Right To Reject Any Or All Of The Bids Received, To Re-advertise For Bids, To Abandon The Project, To Waive Any Or All Informalities In Any Bid Received And To Accept Any Proposal Which The Owner Decides To Be For The Best Interest Of The Owner.
