Site work for a golf course in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course.
Summary of Work 1.1 Remove the existing entry gate and install a new double swing gate, approximately 29 ft 6 in long, black powder-coated, with limestone pillars similar to the Homewood Clubhouse. The gate shall be constructed to allow for future style modifications. 1.2 Install new limestone entry pillars similar to the clubhouse, relocate an existing Knox Box, and stub out electrical conduit for future use. The City of Ames, Iowa (City) is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to replace the entry gate at Homewood Golf Course. Questions and requests for clarification of requirements for this equipment are encouraged. All questions and requests for clarification to the Request for Proposal shall be received in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. CDT on February 18, 2025. Said questions are to be submitted in Ames Bids at online Reproduction of these documents without the express permission of the City of Ames is prohibited. No Vendor may withdraw their proposal for at least sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receiving proposals. The City does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
