Through this Request for Proposals, the Joint Water Commission ("JWC") seeks written proposals from qualified vendors able to provide design, installation, diagnoses, repair, and routine maintenance services on electric motors powering water treatment and distribution equipment from fractional HP up to 1,000 HP. The resulting contract(s) will enhance the JWC's bandwidth in responding to emergency work, design-build projects, and part repair/replacement needs. Contractors must have a reliable track record of providing services on an on-call, and emergency/short notice basis. The JWC is seeking contractors with experience working on the following systems, which are similar to those in the JWC's footprint. Vertical Motors 100-1,000 HP, 460V to 4,160V Horizontal Shaft Motors from fractional HP to 50 HP, 120V to 460V The JWC anticipates awarding multiple contracts through this RFP process. The awarded contract(s) will be executed on an as-needed/on-call basis. Cumulative contract award(s) shall not exceed $500,000. The JWC does not guarantee a specific level of work or dollar amount of purchases under a contract awarded as a result of this RFP.
