Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Elkhart, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of new 13,000 Gsf fire station with 3-bay apparatus bay, support spaces, living quarters, administration spaces, and sleeping quarters. Associated site work includes grading, landscaping, and sidewalk/driveway/parking lot paving. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Indiana, payable without condition to the City of Elkhart, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by bidder and surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Any deviation from the bid documents must be explained by bidder. The Board will award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Board reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities, and to reject any and all bids or portions thereof.
