Mahoning County Outdoor Warning System Service and Maintenance FAILURE TO OBTAIN PROPOSAL FROM THE MAHONING COUNTY PURCHASING DEPARTMENT MAY RESULT IN BID REJECTION/S DUE TO NON-COMPLIANCE WITH FEE REQUIREMENTS AND OFFICIAL ADDENDUM NOTIFICATION/S. For all bids in excess of $75,000.00, a certified check or cashier's check representing FIVE percent (5%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to the Mahoning County Treasurer, or a bid bond in the sum of FIVE percent (5%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each and every proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Board of County Commissioners, in the manner provided by law. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required at the time the bidder enters into the contract. The Board of Mahoning County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. In addition, the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners reserves the right to participate in state contracts which the Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing has entered into for the purchase of supplies, services, equipment and certain materials pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 125.04. No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin.
