Scope of work will include hazardous materials abatement, select demolition, upgrades to all building systems, interior partitions, exterior storefront replacement, interior finish upgrades, door and hardware upgrades, select structural modifications and the addition of a exterior car port drive through canopy A bid guaranty is required per Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 153.54, either certified check representing aten percent (10%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to Western Reserve Port Authority, or a bid bond in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Western Reserve Port Authority, in the manner provided by law. Per ORC 153.571, a performance/payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio must be accompanied by proper certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio. The contractor and all subcontractors for this project must be enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug Free Workplace Program or in a similar program approved by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
