DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor is responsible for the excavation, removal, and disposal of impacted soils and incidental debris (i.e. sub-base, etc.) to the target depth or as directed by the MEGLE Project Manager or Professional. Based on the excavation area, the depth, and anticipated sloping of sidewalls, the total excavation volume will be approximately 8,000 tons of nonhazardous petroleum impacted soil. All non-hazardous soils excavated from the Site will be disposed of at a licensed Type II landfill. Backfill the excavated area. Contractors should only submit a maximum of two (2) attachments (both being less than 25 MB) for bid responses.
