Each renewal is to be mutually agreed upon by both parties. Pricing, terms, and conditions of the first contract will remain the same for any subsequent one-year renewal period. The Clinton County Road Commission will not pay fuel surcharges. The undersigned hereby proposes to furnish all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and other means of construction, do all the work, furnish all the materials, and for the unit prices named in the itemized bid, to complete the work herein described in strict accordance with the plans therefore and in strict conformity with the requirements of the current edition of the MDOT Specifications for Construction and any attached supplemental specifications that may be a part of this bid. Prices are to be effective on date our Board awards the bid and firm throughout year 2025. The Clinton County Road Commission reserves the right to accept any part or this entire bid that they feel is in the best interest of the road commission. The Clinton County Road Commission reserves the right to award an alternate bid as a backup supplier to the awarded low bidder. The purpose and intent of this alternate bid award is to protect the Road Commission from the need to rebid should the primary awarded supplier fail to comply. The bidder will be responsible for CDL compliance of any and all employees/sub-contractors used in fulfilling the transport of material. The bidder will be responsible for testing material to guarantee specification compliance. If deemed necessary by Clinton County Road Commission, an independent firm can be retained for testing of materials with the cost to be shared equally by Clinton County Road Commission and the supplier.
