"Hamilton-Richmond Road Water Main Replacement All bids must remain open and be irrevocable until April 19, 2025. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. The project is described as follows: Install 4,320 ft of 8" ductile iron water main and appurtenances along Hamilton-Richmond Road from Oxford-Middletown Road to Somerville Road including 6 connections to existing mains, 15 service replacements, and 1 trenchless road crossing in Milford Township, Butler County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Such bid guaranty shall be in the form of either a 100% bond, or a cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to the District in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best base bid is in excess of 20% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost of $600,000. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project.
