Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
Project Description: Resurface the entire synthetic athletic track with a new synthetic track surface and striping. Remove asphalt pavement in various areas of campus (roads, parking lots, pathways). Remove, replace, and compact a min. 2-foot depth of soils beneath these asphalt pavement areas. Install new asphalt paving system and striping. DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION PROGRAM: Pursuant to resolution in support of Service Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) approved on May 10, 2011 by the Board of Education, Sundt Construction, Inc. is required to satisfy a minimum DVBE participation percentage of at least three percent (3%) for this project. In compliance with this program, the bidder shall satisfy all requirements enumerated in the bid package. GOALS FOR EBE & DVBE PARTICIPATION: 50% EBE / 6% DVBE. SUNDT CONSTRUCTION INC.
