Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Burlington, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Paving Program The scope ofwork is described in more detail in the Instructions to Bidders document. In summary, the work involves paving related projects at fourteen different locations throughout the City totaling: o 8,025 tons of asphalt. o 38,050 square yards ofmilling. o 620 square feet ofCrosswalk and stop bar pavement markings. o 21,680 Linear Feet ofWhite "Fog Line" pavement marking. o 10,840 Linear Feet of "Double Yellow" pavement marking. Project Descriptions- 1. All PAVE projects shall be given a top-coat to a thickness of 1.5" of Type IV asphalt. 2. All LEVELING and PAVE shall shim as necessary with Type IV asphalt and top coat to a thickness of 1.5" TYPE IV asphalt. 3. All MILLING projects shall remove 1.5" of existing asphalt, unless otherwise stated. 4. All LINE STRIPING shall be waterborne paint. 5. All STOP BARS and CROSSWALKS shall be epoxy or equivalent.
