The Successful Bidder shall perform garbage pick up, mowing, and trimming on shoulders, centre medians, and on all overpasses along the Lincoln Alexander Parkway (LINC) from Filman Road easterly to Dartnall Road, as well as on the Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP) from Dartnall Road to 600m north of Barton Street overpass. No grass-cutting shall be carried out within the areas identified as a "Naturalized Area". Prior to performing each cut, the Successful Bidder shall pick up and remove any garbage, broken glass, papers, rocks, sharp objects, and other foreign refuse of five-centimeter diameter and over including large items such as tires, stray debris, or household goods. The Successful Bidder shall also perform two separate garbage and debris cleanups along the full length of both Parkways, once in the spring and once in the fall, as outlined in the Specifications. Bid Security, Performance and/or Labour and Material Payment Security There is no bid security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Tenders. The City reserves the right to request, prior to the award of the Contract, proof that a Bidder is in compliance with the municipal zoning by-laws within the City of Hamilton regarding the property(ies) at which the Bidder is proposing to Question Deadline: Wed Feb 26, 2025 11:59:00 PM (EST) Duration in months: 60
