Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work consists of but is not limited to the following: - Supply and installation of reduced pressure zone assembly (RP) backflow preventer, water meter (supplied by City personnel), and meter bypass line, all on a single abovegrade concrete pad equipped with a weather-tight heated enclosure; - Provision of exploratory services (hydro-vac) to determine the exact depth of the existing water service and existing pipe material; - Bypass of existing water service during construction, testing and commissioning by means of hot tapping or temporary connections on site; - Provision of below-grade valving and water system piping to and from facilities; - Reconfiguring of existing piping in below grade valve chamber including the provision of risers (including insulation) to and from the new backflow preventer; - Provision of electrical power wiring from an adjacent building to serve two space heaters located inside the enclosure, as well as heat tracing and insulation for the below grade pipe risers which serve the above-mentioned facilities; - Provision of instrumentation wiring from an existing control panel to the backflow preventer/water meter enclosure, and the supply of an analog temperature transmitter; and - Provision of site restoration including asphalt and concrete repairs, fencing installation, tree planting and sodding.
