Renovation of an educational facility in Overland Park, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
PROJECT SCOPE The Work as described by the drawings and specifications include in general terms: The replacement of existing glass and glazing units with new security glazing units. The project consists of (but is not limited to): Removal and disposal of existing glass and glazing units within existing exterior aluminum and hollow metal doors and frames. New security glazing units (Manko EG3) to be provided and installed into existing aluminum and hollow metal frames. Provide and install new door number signage, new door light trim, and limited metal drip flashing over doors. Note: Glass must be installed the same day it is removed. Cash Allowance No. 1 (shall be included in Base Bid Amount) - For use at Cottonwood Point, Harmony, Heartland, Indian Valley, Leawood, Morse, Mission Trail, Prairie Star, Timber Creek, Valley Park, & Wolf Springs Elementary Schools: Provide a 10% (Ten percent) cash allowance included in the Base Bid for "undesignated conditions" as the Owner deems necessary. Cash Allowance No. 2 (shall be included in Alternate #1 Bid Amount) - For use at Alternate #1: Stanley Elementary School. Provide a 10% (Ten percent) cash allowance included in the Alternate #1 Bid for "undesignated conditions" as the Owner deems necessary.
