The City of Capitola Public Works Department (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers for the following services: The project/contract consists of high-pressure steam cleaning of sidewalks and surfaces within Capitola Village on a regularly scheduled basis as outlined in RFP. Provider would ensure reclamation of all pressure washing water and compliance with City's environmental policies. Provider must list equipment and manpower proposed to provide services. The purpose of this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and insurance needed to perform Power Washing Services for the Capitola Village. The Proposer is responsible for developing the service prices necessary to conform to the contract specifications that are applicable to the service locations being proposed on. The proposal is to be presented with the total service cost for each site based on the frequency schedule in Appendix C. The Proposer shall carefully examine the location sites, proposal, specifications, special provisions and contract forms. The scope of services contained in Appendix A will be referenced and incorporated to the awarded contract for services. The term of the first contract will be for one year or ending on December 31, 2026. The City of Capitola, at its sole discretion, may elect to extend the service contract for an additional 5 (five), one-year terms, pending satisfactory performance under the original contract. Annual contractual costs shall be equal to the October-to-October San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose Consumer Price Index-All Urban (CPI) in an amount not to exceed four percent (4%), annually, on January 1 of each contract renewal.
