Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ballwin, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of Work Proposed construction for the Project will consist generally of: the removal of the existing asphalt overlay, removal of selected concrete pavement, sawing existing pavement where indicated, forming, placement, and finishing the 6 thick non reinforced air entrained Portland cement concrete sections on a new four (4) inch aggregate base at the specified locations throughout the City of Ballwin, sidewalk replacement and construction of ADA curb ramps . A Notice to proceed is anticipated to be effective April 1, 2025 but an exact date will be decided at the Preconstruction Meeting. the Contractor to proceed and the Project shall be completed within a period of 60 calendar days from the date of such notice, unless an extension of time is approved by the City of Ballwin. Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Base Bid offered by the bidder as indicated on the Bid Proposal form shall accompany the bid submittal The successful bidder shall be required to furnish within ten (10) days of notification of contract award a satisfactory Payment, Performance and Guarantee Bond in the full amount of the Bid based on the bid quantities listed on the Bid Proposal form. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
