The work includes, without limiting the generality thereof, creating green stormwater infrastructure on Town property located on Standish Way, West Yarmouth, MA. The Contractor is responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment as specified to perform the work. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the words: "Standish Way Green Stormwater Infrastructure" Project Estimate: $161,000. The project's substantial completion date is May 23, 2025. Project construction must start no later than March 31, 2025, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Town. Each Bid must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, or a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 50 percent Payment Bond with a surety company an acceptable bonding company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Town of Yarmouth. The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. A bid that includes an abnormally low or high amount for any item may be rejected as unbalanced.
