Renovation of a municipal facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The general scope of the Project is as follows: The work includes replacement of five existing pumps and associated components, piping modifications, and the associated electrical modifications. Work of this contract comprises the replacement of select existing pumps and associated components, piping modifications, and the associated electrical modifications for a fully functioning system at Caddo Parish Courthouse located at 501 Texas Street, Shreveport, LA 71101. The pumps will be installed in the existing mechanical rooms. The facility will be occupied continuously throughout construction. Contractor will make appropriate accommodations to schedule the shutdown of the individual pumps at a time that will minimize the outage during normal business hours and that is acceptable to the owner. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and all alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written in conformance with state law. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law. Electronic bids for the Parish of Caddo are available for submission at online. Bidders that wish to submit electronic bids online will be charged a fee by online. In addition, bidders shall be required to obtain a digital signature certificate prior to submitting bids online. The bid security required by this solicitation may also be submitted online. The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities. The Parish of Caddo shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract between Owner and Contractor is fully executed. Question Deadline 02/18/2025 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, to reach the Architect at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
