If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form. Bid bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Four Hundred and 00/100 ($400,00) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of 73 days. Budget: $400,000 Event pre-bid note: Attendance at the pre-bid conference by an officer, estimator or other individual knowledgeable with preparing the bid, is MANDATORY and will be considered a pre-condition for bidder eligibility.
