Sealed bids will be accepted for: SOLID WASTE AND GARDEN WASTE COLLECTION CONTRACT The Borough of New Providence shall not be responsible for any bid mailed that is lost in transit or delivered late. All bids must be presented in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Solid Waste And Garden Waste Collection Contract." No bid will be received after the time and date specified. All bids shall be in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Business Administrator and Public Works Manager. They must be on the bid forms provided by the Borough in the bid package; no other forms will be accepted. The Borough reserves the right to require prospective bidders to submit a complete financial and experience statement showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the required nature before awarding the Contract. Bids must be submitted in standard proposal form and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder on the outside addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of New Providence, 360 Elkwood Ave., New Providence, New Jersey 07974, by the date set forth above. All documents in the enclosed bid package must accompany the bid proposal and/or proposals. The bid security shall be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid or twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000.00), whichever is lower. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any irregularities where such irregularity is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough.
