Contractor to supply equipment and personnel for six (6) Utility Line Clearance Tree Trimming and one (1) Climb Crew for Transmission in the Central Lincoln service area. All personnel must be qualified line clearance Journeyman tree trimmers per OSHA 1910.269 and 1910.266. This will be a three-year contract starting July 1, 2025. All prospective bidders must be pre-approved. At the above date, time and place the District will publicly open bids. In order for a bid to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the submitted bids must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract work for people's utility districts. If the contract is for public work subject to ORS 261.345 or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 276a), no bid will be received or considered by the District unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder as a part of its bid that the provisions of ORS 261.345 or 40 U.S.C. 276a are to be complied with. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120 Certification by the contractor that all subcontractors performing work as described in ORS 701.005(2) (i.e., construction work) or ORS 671.520(2) (i.e., landscape work) will be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board in accordance with ORS 701.035 to 701.026 before the subcontractors commence work under the contract. Oregon Law requires that every public contract contain a condition that all employers working under such contract are subject employers that will comply with ORS 656.017 (Worker's Compensation). The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so
