The City of Newport, OR (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following project: South Beach Utility Undergrounding -Phase 3. The project includes the following work: All work related to the conversion of overhead to underground electrical, telecommunications and cable television utility services to private properties and installation of decorative street light bases and associated pull boxes in the public right-of-way. Project work will include coordination with utility companies to acquire necessary materials, obtaining associated electrical permits and the installation of all pull from sources other than the designated website or issuing Office. Instructions to string, conductors, and/or light pole bases as described in drawings. Installation work will also include coordinating with local utility providers to complete service transfer, cutting and capping overhead electric power masts, and restoration of sidewalks, driveways, and landscaping to restore properties to preconstruction condition.
