City of Lynn Invitation for Bids Lead Paint Removal Services The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed lead abatement companies to provide lead paint removal services on an as needed basis for any school and municipal buildings located in Lynn Massachusetts. Work involves the removal of lead paint, whether scraping for new paint or for the demolition of lead paint containing material in preparation for construction and installation of equipment or fixtures such as wiring or piping. All General Bids must be accompanied by a copy of a Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) "Certificate of Eligibility" (DCAMM Form CQ-7) and a "Contractor Update Statement" (DCAMM Form CQ-3). The category of work for which the Bidder must be certified is: Deleading Bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid price in the form of certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Lynn. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 and to the minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 - 27D. The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City
