Renovation of a financial development in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a financial development.

The City of Lynn is soliciting bids for the following: 195 MARKET STREET INTERIOR RENOVATION - PHASE 1 195 MARKET ST. LYNN, MA 01901 The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the interior renovation and conversion of the 3rd floor of an existing building to accommodate the needs of Lynn Public Schools. The project includes selective demolition, MEPF system upgrades, interior finishes including the construction of new partition walls,painting, resilient flooring, and acoustic ceiling tiles. The estimated cost of the work is $4,000,000. The project is expected to commence on or about April 21, 2025 and be completed no later than August 31, 2025. Time is of the essence for the completion of this project. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Each general bid and filed sub-bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, or cash, or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the City of Lynn in the amount of five percent (5%) of value of the bid. Performance and Labor and Materials payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all general bids, if it be in the public interest to do so, and to reject any sub-bid on any sub-trade if it determines that such sub-bid does not represent the sub-bid of a person competent to perform the work as specified or that less than three such sub-bids were received and that the prices are not reasonable for acceptance without further competition. Question Deadline 04/02/2025 (according to Addendum 4) Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Prime Designer or Owner. Prime Designer or Owner will answer such requests if received five days (5) working days (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excluded) before the date for receipt of the bids.
