Renovation of an educational facility in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Fire Alarm Replacement - Fecteau-Leary Middle School The Project consists of but not limited to: Full fire alarm system replacement including all notification and initiation devices. A new, addressable, fire alarm and detection system with voice evacuation, which shall have 60- hours of battery back-up and 15 minutes of alarm shall be provided with all associated appurtenances such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, speaker/strobes, and pull stations. The new fire alarm control panel is replacing an existing fire alarm control panel that serves Fecteau-Leary and Cobbert Buildings and the existing signaling devices in Cobbert Building will be repowered to the new fire alarm control panel. The work is estimated to cost $317,930.00. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 05/01/2025 at 3:00PM EDT for general bids. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Electrical, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the CITY OF LYNN.
