Demolition, site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
As of March 21, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 4.4% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The work to be done under this contract includes: A 9 story; 146' tall, approximately 8,000 SF tower as well as approximately 1,300 SF link to base building, selective demo of Phase 1 base building elements and build out of base building fire pump room, associated site work, furniture for base building and tower, landscaping, MEP equipment in base building to serve the tower, all as indicated in the bid documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria. Prospective Bidders are hereby advised that award of contract and start of work is contingent upon the Owner receiving approval and adequate Federal funding assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
