Overview The intent and purpose of this IFB is to obtain competitive bids and award a contract for landfill services through December 31, 2025. The City shall hold options to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms (2026 & 2027). Scope: The Streets Division of the City's Public Works Department is seeking sealed bids for the disposal of compactable refuse, non-compactable refuse and soil-rock-concrete fill. The landfill must meet all federal, state and local requirements and certifications. The landfill must be able to provide certified dump tickets. The City will use the landfill services on an as needed basis. The City is looking for unit prices (per ton) and will provide their own transportation of these materials. Inquiries Any questions related to the IFB shall be submitted to Paul Feldmann, Purchasing Manager, at paul.feldmann@stcharlescitymo.gov. Deadline for clarifying questions: February 18, 2025 3:00 PM. The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City reserves the right to waive any variances from original bid specifications in cases where the variances are considered to be in the best interest of the City.
