Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of a roof replacement of the existing roof as indicated in the bid documents. submit in writing (email) to architect. Architect not responsible for any oral instructions given. Architect: Laura Wunderlich (Email: Laura.Wunderlich@bldd.com). The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders must provide a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposed contract sum. The successful bidder will be required to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, comply with the Missouri Department of Labor Standards Prevailing Wage Rates, and be enrolled in the E-Verify Federal Work Authorization Program. Project Summary i. The proposed project consists of Complete removal of the existing BUR (Built Up Roof) and replacement with a Cold Process Hybrid Roof System. Insulation to comply with R30 Requirements and all areas must promote positive drainage. Also, included in the scope is replacing the existing roof system, curbs, coping cap, gutters, and downspouts as indicated in the documents. ii. Alternate Bid No 01 includes all work associated with removing and disposing of carefully lowering the existing solar panels to the ground. This includes removing all solar panels, structure for the solar panels, curbs for the solar panels, all hardware for the solar panels as well as all the electrical conduits, wire and panels that feed the solar panels.
