Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project will consist of pavement & curb replacement from Boones Lick Rd. to First Capital Drive. The project includes the addition of sidewalk on both sides of 2nd Street with bulb-outs for traffic calming and safer pedestrian crossing. Enclosed drainage will be improved and retrofitted to connect to the new curb lines. The proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check of a bank or trust company in St. Charles County, City of St. Charles, St. Louis County, or in the City of St. Louis for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid amount. The amount of the check shall be forfeited to the City if the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract or to furnish bond after their proposal has been accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers, or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids with the MoDOT concurrence. The City reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the execution of a contract for a period not exceeding one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening of the bids. The successful bidder to whom the contract has been awarded shall sign the contract and performance bond and other required certificates in triplicate and return the signed documents within fifteen (15) days after the date of their receipt.
