St. Charles County, Missouri, is hereby issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide ROOF CONSULTANT SERVICES. One [1] signed original and one [1] signed identical copy of the proposal, along with an identical electronic copy provided on a USB storage device must be received in a sealed envelope plainly marked "RFP 25-064 ROOF CONSULTANT SERVICES" with the due date and time of the proposal in the lower left corner of the envelope. The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals, or parts of any proposal, for any reason whatsoever and waive technicalities. All questions must be received no later than 2:00 PM on 5/1/25. Any question received after this deadline may not be answered. St. Charles County is seeking consultant services to conduct roof condition assessments as well as assist with replacement projects. Assessments are defined as an expert opinion on the condition and expected life remaining on the existing roof. The roof replacement projects would include determining the appropriate roofing material and complete systems for the site, assist project manager with writing the bid specifications, assisting with bid results assessment, and conducting site evaluation during construction, which include overseeing installation to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications. Each assessment or project would be priced according to the complexity of the effort at the time it is requested.
