Annual Asphalt Overlay Project 2025 General: The base course, or preceding course or layer shall be cleaned of all dirt, packed soil or any other foreign material prior to spreading the asphaltic mixture. If lumps are present or a crust has formed on the surface of the asphalt, the entire load will be rejected. The thickness and width of each course shall conform to the typical section in the contract. Any deviation in thickness and width shall require prior authorization by Public Works. Any questions related to the IFB shall be submitted to Paul Feldmann, Purchasing Manager, at paul.feldmann@stcharlescitymo.gov. Deadline for clarifying questions: May 14, 2025 3:00 PM All work must be completed prior to 12/31/2025. Payment terms shall be net thirty (30) days after delivery/installation unless otherwise stated. The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
