As of April 28, 2025, the project was awarded to Universal Asphalt Co., Inc., with an awarded amount of$398,000.00. The work under this Contract includes furnishing of all labor, materials, services except as specifically excluded, which is required for completion of the Project in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. All construction shall be complete as indicated in the contract documents. The general scope of the work shall include but not be limited to 1 Removal and replacement of concrete walks in accordance to Title 24 compliance. 2 Removal and replacement of driveway approach in accordance to local control (city permit) at Victoria Elementary school. 3 Replacement of tree rings where designated for each school site involved. 4 Removal and replacement of water lines at designated school sites. Any questions regarding the bid specifications shall be submitted to Purchasing in writing by February 4th by 4:00 pm by email to amy_drummond@redlands.k12.ca.us Asphalt Removal/Replacement at Beattie Middle School. A California type A, B, C12/C8 licenses or equivalent required to be held by contractor. Contractor must have current registration with CA Department of Industrial Relations. The Contractor and any subcontractor(s) shall pay not less than the specified prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract. The District is seeking DVBE participation with this bid. The Board of Trustees of the Redlands Unified School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids or bidding, to be sole judge as to the merit, quality and acceptability of labor and materials proposed and their compliance to the plans and specifications, if it be in the best interest of the District.
