Sealed bids will be received bythe Adams County Board of Supervisors for the purchase,from the lowest and best bidder,for furnishing general supplies, construction materials and contract services, as needed in Adams County for a six (6) monthperiod starting April 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2025. o Laydown Asphalt o Patching o Purchase of Asphalt o Concrete o Culverts This bid is to haul and lay downHot Mix Asphalt with a asphaltspreader and compactors onstreets as designed from time totime in Adams County. All mobilization, maintenance oftraffic, barricades, flagmen, andother traffic management devices and labor shall be provided.Streets that have a shoulder ofbuilt of material along edge ofsurface shall be cleaned backby a motor grader or other method. The entire surface to be laidshall be cleaned by sweeping, blowing, or other methodsuntil all dust, mud, clay, grass,lumps, and foreign material isremoved. Asphalt tack shall beapplied before spreading asphalt, cost absorbed. Spreader shall be constructed so thatthey can be accurately gaugedand set to uniformly distributethe asphalt. A steel- wheel roller shall be used and shall beself-propelled and shall be rated at 5 to 8 tons. A Pneumaticroller shall be used and shallbe self-propelled with the frontand rear tires not tracking eachother. Upon completion of paving all areas shall be thoroughly cleaned. Any quantities specified on any list of supplies are approximate only as a basis for submitting of proposals. Bid prices are to be firm and not subject to change during the period specified above. Bids submitted with qualifications or exceptions will not be considered. The Adams County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waiver informalities and to reject any and all bids.
