High Friction Surface Treatment Contract This contract is located in Kanawha and Raleigh Counties. It consists of application of approximately 45,499 total square yards of existing roadway with High Friction Surface Treatment. All work under this contract shall be completed by August 1", 2025. Proposals must be made via Bid Express in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a CASHIER'S or CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, FOR AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSAL OR $2,000 WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest. The Authority strongly encourages Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses to submit proposals for this contract. The WVPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
