Renovation of a municipal facility in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Carpentry Area Renovations Contract for Maintenance Building The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Board of Governors, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the Carpentry Area Renovations Contract for Maintenance Building according to Bidding Documents prepared by ZMM, Inc. Architects and Engineers. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder's registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State of West Virginia prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder's Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 30 days after opening bids. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond utilizing the bond forms bound in the Project Manual each in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid. 1. Carpentry Area Renovations Contract whose scope is as follows: a. All interior and exterior work in Carpentry Room 106. b. All renovation work indicated on Drawing M131 and associated work shown on balance of Drawings. c. Associated selective demolition. d. Associated work in this area indicated on Sheet A131 including outdoor concrete equipment pad. e. Associated electrical work indicated on Electrical Drawings. f. Remedial finish work in areas affected by renovations. g. Protection of existing construction and equipment to remain. h. Total clean-up of all areas affected by the work of this project. 2. Paint Area Renovations Contract whose scope is as follows: a. All interior and exterior work in Service Room 109, Paint Room 114, Storage Room 115, and Conference Room 206. b. All renovation work indicated on Drawing M132 and associated work shown on balance of Drawings. c. Associated selective demolition. d. Associated work in this area indicated on Sheet A131. e. New roof-mounted mechanical equipment, roof curbs, roof penetrations, and flashing. f. Associated electrical work indicated on Electrical Drawings. g. Remedial finish work in areas affected by renovations. h. Protection of existing construction and equipment to remain. i. Total clean-up of all areas affected by the work of this project.
