The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services that will include, but not limited to, water main installation of approximately 29,000 LF of Main (500 LF of 4" Main, 20,700 LF of 6" Main, 2,600 LF of 8" Main, 5,200 LF of 12" Main), 45 fire hydrants, 20 Cut and Plugs & 520 Services. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. Construction services will include, but not limited to, water main installation of approximately 29,000 LF of Main (500 LF of 4" Main, 20,700 LF of 6" Main, 2,600 LF of 8" Main, 5,200 LF of 12" Main), 45 fire hydrants, 20 Cut and Plugs & 520 Services. This is a federal-aid project. The prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, shall be the minimum wages paid to the described classes of laborers and mechanics employed or working on the site to perform the contract. This project will utilize federal funds and is subject to the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 and the U.S. Department of Transportation DBE Program. The City of Phoenix, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
