Reference Number : 0000375781 The City of Miami Beach Facilities and Fleet Management Department is soliciting a bid for unplanned roof repairs on an as-needed basis citywide. The City of Miami Beach Facilities and Fleet Management Department is soliciting a bid for unplanned roof repairs on an as-needed basis citywide. City departments may, but are not required to, utilize the results of this ITQ to acquire the referenced service. Award of ITQ does not grant the successful contractor(s) exclusive rights or any guarantee of work to provide the services. The estimated budget for these services is $200,000. No individual project may exceed $200,000. General Conditions: o Pricing to include all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and mobilization. o Any change order must be approved by the Project Manager prior to beginning work. o Vendor will be responsible for all permits, as required. o Contractor shall maintain the site free of debris and trash to be picked up daily. o Department reserves the right to request a Schedule of Values for all bids received. o The City may reject any or all quotations, or any portion of the quotation, as it deems in the best interest of the City. o Contractor is to provide pricing for work to be performed during business hours. Scope of Work: o Qualified and certified contractor for the installation, repair, and replacement of roof systems in accordance with the Florida Building Code. o Contractor must possess the necessary qualifications and certifications for installation, repair and replacement of conventional roofing systems. o Waterproofing of roof systems. o Installation, repair, and replacement of roof deck insulation. o Application of roof coating, painting, and coverings. o Use of sheet metal and installation of sheet metal and other specialty products incidental to roofing work. o Installation of gutters, and downspouts incidental to roofing work. o Installation of nonstructural decking and siding. o Roofing to include all additional items such as flashings, parapet walls, abutments, soffits, gutters, drains and downspouts, sidewalls (outer), skylights, chimneys, walking pads, etc. o Application restoration of various installation types to include spray foam, fiber glass, etc. o Roofing contractor to repair and/or replace damaged decking and/or wood structural or nonstructural members during the roof system repair or replacement process.
