Deadline For Questions: Monday, February 24th, 2025 by 10:00am SCOPE OF WORK: Includes, but not limited to, providing all the necessary labor, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, insurance, equipment, scaffolding, hoisting, fees, etc. necessary to provide the Scope Package - Roofing & Sheet Metal If bid exceeds $50,000, a certified check or surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the sealed bid of each bidder, designating the Edmond Public Schools and L5 Construction, as dual obligees. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities will be retained as provided in the Instructions To Bidders. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturday, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The Owner/Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all formalities or minor irregularities. Included with the Bidding Documents is a Contractors Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305-1986), which must be completed and returned by 10:00am Central, Monday, February 24th, 2025 if Bidder has fewer than three completed construction projects with Owner and/or Construction Manager. If Bidder fails to do so, Bidder will be deemed ineligible to bid. Qualification to bid or perform work does not constitute a license; is not a guarantee of award in the event the Bidder submits the lowest priced bid proposal; and, does not confer any property or other legal rights upon Bidder. Owner/Construction Manager shall be the sole judge of the qualifications of prospective Bidders and shall ascertain the qualifications of each Bidder. In addition to the Contractors Qualification Statement, the Owner/Construction Manager may make such investigations as they deem necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the work, and the Bidder shall furnish to the Owner/Construction Manager all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner/Construction Manager may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the information submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner/Construction Manager that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the requirements of the Bidding and Contract Documents.
