**As of April 25, 2025, the project was awarded to South Georgia Milling & Cleanup Services LLC, with an awarded amount of $628,325.28.** The scope of work includes the provision by the successful contractor of all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the proper completion of the Project, in accordance with this Request for Proposal, the specific Project plans and specifications, the Citys Design and Construction Standards, and the Georgia Department of Transportations Design and Construction Standards, Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and all other applicable laws, rules, and regulations, whether local, state, or federal. The 2025 Asphalt Milling & Resurfacing Project consists of the installation of approximately 3,000 tons of topping (9.5 mm), 400 tons of patching, 25,000 square yards of milling and pavement markings. The project includes the installation of all materials and labor. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the bid. A letter of credit or bank guaranteed check, from a local bank, may be submitted in lieu of bond. Cash or personal checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
