Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Newark Valley, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project includes repair of both abutments on BIN 2218590, Dalton Hill Road over Wilson Creek. Question Deadline 02/18/2025 Questions or inquiries should be in writing and directed to Delta Engineers, 860 Hooper Road, Endwell NY 13760, Attn: Richard K. Perkins, P.E., Project Manager, telephone 607-352-1682, or via e-mail at rperkins@delta-eas.com. All questions must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the base bid, made payable to the Town of Newark Valley. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45-days after the actual bid opening thereof, in accordance with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 105. The bidders should not include in their bid Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on the cost of the materials which are to be incorporated in the Project. In accordance with New York State General Municipal Law, Section 103, the Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids. As per New York State requirements, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to pay prevailing wage, PRC#2025000450. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: May 23, 2025
