The bid schedule will include drilling, installation, and subsequent development of one approximate 20-inch diameter irrigation water well approximately 800 feet in depth, located at the intersection of Goulds Wash and South 60 East, Hurricane, Washington County, Utah. The proposed work consists of drilling an 20-inch diameter well to a depth of approximately 800 feet and developing the well in compliance with rules and regulations R309 and R655 of the Utah Administrative Code. The work and requirements to be accomplished by the Contractor shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the construction as specified. The completion of this contract shall include furnishing and installation of casing, stainless steel screen, and gravel pack, development test pumping, and completing a well capable of receiving permanent pumping facilities. A test well was drilled at the site on March 29th , 2024, and a copy of the well driller's report has been attached at the end of this document. The Owner reserves the right to extend the unit prices of this bid for a period of one year from the date of the bid on similar drilling and well development projectsin the Washington County area. The Owner may also extend unit prices beyond one year and up to 5 years provided that the Contractors' unit prices can be modified by a percentage not to exceed the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Western Region Hurricane City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularity.
