Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Single lump sum bids plus add alternates contractors to perform all phases of the work for the renovations of Strohman Park at the corner of 6th Street and Central Avenue in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Primary work includes but not limited to excavate existing water feature, removal of landscape beds, mulch, plants, shrubs, trees and install new plants, trees, shrubs, decorative stone, landscape bed edging, top soil and grass seed. The envelope in which the bid is sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation: Strohman Park Renovation Project. The City of Marshfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any technicality, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the City. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the contractor will execute and file the proper contracts with the city within fifteen (15) business days after the final award of the bid notice. If the successful contractor fails to file such contract, the amount of the check or bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated RECREATION AND damages
