The proposed project includes the replacement of approximately 40 LF of 12-inch water main, 2,500 LF of 8-inch water main, 7,2300 LF of 6-inch water main, and 50 LF of 2-inch water main. The replacement will occur along E. Smith St, W. Smith St, Mill St, Baldwin St, Kirkland St, E. Institute St, E. 3rd Ave, N. Pine St, & N. Elm St. The project also includes the abandonment of an existing 4-inch galvanized waterline along N. Oak St and the relocation of services to the existing 16-inch DIP water main. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. There is not a pre-bid conference for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
