Construction of Fire Station 11 Scope:- The work under this project consists of construction of a one-story masonry and steel framed building including, but not limited to, concrete foundations and slab-on-grade floor, steel bar joist roof framing, brick veneer, cementitious lap siding, composite wall panels, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, standing seam metal roofing, masonry interior partitions, cabinetwork, furniture, commercial kitchen equipment, flagpoles and site furnishings, site utilities and improvements, landscaping, fire suppression, plumbing systems and fixtures, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems, electrical power and lighting systems. Question Submission Deadline: March 5, 2025, 5:00pm Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing through the Electronic . Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond issued by a company authorized and licensed to transact business in the State of Virginia as surety, a certified check, or cash escrow, in an amount equal to not less than five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Chesapeake City Treasurer The City reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive errors in the Bid, to reject any/or all bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the City.
