Site work for a mixed-use development in Hays, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Any bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid. City of Hays reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids/proposals, to waive any irregularities in such bids/proposals, and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most responsive and best suits the City of Hays. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 (forty-five) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the City of Hays, Kansas.
