2025 Public Works - Equipment Storage Building Construction of a Service and Stormwater Divisions Equipment Storage Building, COH Project No. 2025-08 This project consists of the construction of a minimum 45' x 90' red iron equipment storage building, including the installation of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Any bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid. City of Hays reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids/proposals, to waive any irregularities in such bids/proposals, and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most responsive and best suits the City of Hays. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 (forty-five) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the City of Hays, Kansas The final day and time to submit bid questions is Thursday, March 27th, 2025, 5:30 PM.
