The Manitowoc County Highway Department is accepting sealed bids for the furnishing of "Hot Mix Asphalt services. The following project(s) will be funded by Manitowoc County/and/or the Wisconsin Local Roads Program. Various highway projects within Manitowoc County. Hot Mix Asphalt to be bid per Ton unit price. Manitowoc County encourages bidders to submit multiple hot mix material bids if bidder has more than one production plant available to service the Manitowoc County area. Bidder shall furnish an approved mix design from each production plant in which the bid submitted pertains to. Asphalt Milling to be bid per Square Yard unit price with mobilization per each time. SPECIFICATIONS: Mix production for the Hot Mix Asphalt (4 LT 58-28 S) estimate of 33,700 Tons. Asphalt milling average depth of 2" estimate of 125,800 Square Yards. Mobilization based on 5 mobs. Asphalt mix design and asphaltic milling shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the "State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation; Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction" and applicable supplemental specifications to the standard specifications. BID REJECTION: Manitowoc County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. waive any informalities or irregularities within the bid or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the County, shall serve in the County's best interest. BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof, without consent of the county. AWARD OF CONTRACT: It is anticipated that issuance of intent to award to the selected responsive and responsible low bidder will occur within 10 working days after the public bid opening.
