East Lawn Park Shelter Renovation Bids are requested for the following work: The existing 960 SF park shelter building is located at 1515 Boyd Street, Green Bay, WI 54301. The Scope includes but is not limited to: o New interior and exterior finishes o New doors, frames and hardware o New aluminum windows o Painting the existing metal roof (alternate to provide a new metal roof) o Painting the existing concrete floors (alternate for epoxy floors) o Provide new perimeter sidewalk doweled into the existing building foundation OWNER - The Village of Allouez and the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department acting through its Village Board hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received in the Village Hall Office for the above mentioned project. BIDS - All bids shall be addressed to the Village of Allouez, C/O: Chris Clark, Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Director,1900 Libal St., Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301. Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the bidder as well as BID with the project name EAST LAWN PARK SHELTER RENOVATION FOR VILLAGE OF ALLOUEZ marked on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the contract documents. BID SECURITY - No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Allouez in the amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION - The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any information in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Allouez. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS - No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
