RFB Questions Due: April 9, 2026, by 3:00pm Questions can be delivered via email to: bcpurchasing@browncountywi.gov Questions MUST be clearly marked in the subject line: Questions for Project #2794 Brown County LWCD will be overseeing the construction of two kayak launches along the East River in Brown County, WI o One located at Wiese Park in the Village of Allouez o One located at Ledgeview Park in the Town of Ledgeview o Launches are designed to allow for canoe & kayak access to the East River. o Selected contractor must be able to provide relevant construction experience and be capable of installing the kayak launches to the approved plans and specifications. o This includes ordering and delivery of project materials o There will be a mandatory pre-construction meeting with Brown County LWCD before the contractor begins construction o The project has been permitted by Wisconsin DNR (Boat Launch Permit) as well as Brown County Zoning. o All work must be completed within parameters of permits o Brown County LWCD technician will be present during construction to verify construction practices, installation, and assist with verifying project boundaries and elevations. o Brown County LWCD technician will coordinate with local municipalities (Allouez & Ledgeview) for any necessary trail closures or trail traffic control during construction. o Construction of kayak launches to be completed during low flow conditions o East River is a flashy system and single rain events can cause large fluctuations in the water level.
